Wednesday 24th february - pubnight at cult for all the new exchange students.

Montreaux

On sundays, everything is closed in Switzerland, so we took a look at the map and chose to take the train to Montreaux.

Cavemen, lions and giraffs all over the place. Madagascar was the theme here for some wierd reason. The walk by the water even had palms!!!

This is what I call sightseeing in Lausanne on a sunny saturday.

we found a cool store with loads of sneakers...loved the leo-printed converse.....

Outside the biggest nightclub where Mr. Guetta will play soon. See what's on the wall? Safe sex y'all!

Then off to the Cathedral.

We found a really cute Crêperie on top of Lausanne...

I asked the waitress to make me a crêpe with chèvre, walnuts, pears and honey...Tadaaa!

I'll be surprised if I don't see my delicoius creation on the menu next time.

a new city, a new home

My new hood for the upcoming months!
I live in this building.....
....and my room is really white and bright.

It takes 5 minutes to get to the main train station here in Lausanne. If I get bored I have the train to Paris or Milan waiting for me. Or I could just get me some croissantes. It's a bit charming to sell them like this.
