Koli

50 km from our house is Koli. It's the name of the national parc and the remainings of a mountain (the Karelid mountaine) that, some 2 000 000 years ago rivalled with the modern Himalayans. Today the highest point is only 347 m above sea-level. And it is really beautiful here

the skii-lift is a big tourist-attraction but since the touristseason was over, it was not moving at all

Our summerhouse

I usually don't bring so much clothes when I come here, because the attic is filled with old clothing from mom and her sisters. I found these beige tights, a colorful scarve and some ugly-cute feet-warmers ;) (mockasiner)

Everything is so old-fashioned here..to cook some food our even to boil water - we need to heat the stove with pieces of wood...these last photos are from the oven. We have to wait until all the woods are burnt down and the only thing left inside is the heat, then it's okey to bake some bread or finnish "pirakka" It's a really nice and warm feeling to live in this house for a couple of weeks every summer, to get the feeling of how my mother lived when she was a child. To not have an electric/gas kitchen and cook or heat the house in this way is really amazing.

my sister's 19th birthday!

Noora got a new red bike on her birthday the 22th July! We took a ride on Djurgården and to her surprise the King's sheep were there too...

I had a very cozy sunday with a friend that I hadn't met for a very long time..we went to see amazing Ver Speers and Annie Leibowitz photo-exibithion at Fotografiska. The girl with black wings and Leonardo DiCaprio with a swan were the photographies that I fell in love with immedately!

We had such a funny time with Marias killerheels which she couldn't seem to get off of her foot! When she came home that night, she had to sleep with a plastic bag around it because it was still stuck on her foot!......

one night we had a barbecue in a "inner-yard" (innegård) ...a lot of friends gathered in the heat!

Me and Johanna at Mosebacke...we did something funny this night: me&johanna&maria gave a note with our names and phone numbers to one of the bartender..and we have never seen a bigger smile in our lifes...sometimes it's cool to just live in the moment without thinking to much.

an awesome night with Louisa and her friends includes playing games, eating chocolate chip cookies and drinking bubbling wine.

..and going crazy in the local pub, continuing playing games until they kicked us out!

Summer in Stockholm City

I'm back in Stockholm again and this is what I have been dooing the past days when the temperature has been around 30 C.
