The Jardin Majorelle in Marrakech was bought by Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé and they lived here in Marrakech. They came to Morocco for a visit and in the end of the week, they felt such a strong connection to the culture and they had signed a contract for their first house in Morocco. For Yves Saint Laurent, Marrakech was the only city he could imagine living in besides Paris.
Inside the maison, we saw the ongoing exhibition of YSL:s moroccan collection with long dresses, djellabas and beautiful strong colours. Too bad..photographing was strictly prohibited.
